It's not just another card game app — it's the real deal.
Tongits has been part of Filipino culture for decades. You'd find it at family gatherings during Paskong Pinoy, at the barangay hall on quiet weekday afternoons, or with barkada on a lazy weekend. At Jilliso, we've brought that same familiar energy to a secure, mobile-friendly platform where you can play against real opponents — and win real Philippine Pesos.
What sets Jilliso apart is the focus on experience. The interface is clean and fast, even on a budget Android phone running LTE in the provinces. The rules follow the classic Filipino version of Tongits, so there's no relearning or confusion. Whether you're a seasoned sabungero ng baraha or a curious newcomer, you'll feel right at home.
Deposits start as low as ₱50 via GCash, and withdrawals land in your account within minutes. No complicated forms, no long waiting periods — just smooth gameplay from start to payout.

Tongits is played by 2 to 4 players using a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to end with the lowest total point value in your hand.
The dealer gets 13 cards; everyone else gets 12. A draw pile is placed at the center. The remaining cards form the discard pile.
On your turn, draw from the pile or pick up a discarded card. Then meld sets/runs or dump a card. You can also "fight" a player.
Win by "Tongits" (emptying your hand), declaring the lowest score, or being the last standing after a "sapaw" or fight challenge.
There's a reason Tongits rewards experience. While luck plays a role in what cards you draw, sharp players consistently come out ahead because they read the table, manage their hand efficiently, and know exactly when to fight and when to fold.
One of the most important skills in Tongits is hand management. Early in the game, focus on forming melds quickly. A three-card set (three of the same rank) or a three-card run (consecutive cards of the same suit) should be your immediate target. The faster you reduce your hand's point value, the safer your position.
Keep a close eye on what other players are discarding. If you notice someone dumping middle-value cards like 6s, 7s, or 8s early, they might be close to Tongits or preparing a fight. Don't hand them the card they need. At Jilliso, the discard pile is always visible, making it easier to track what's in play.
Knowing when to call a fight is the other half of good Tongits strategy. If your total hand value is low but not zero, calling a fight can still win you the round — as long as your score beats everyone else at the table. Timing matters here more than almost anything else.
Understanding card values is the foundation of every winning strategy.
| Card | Point Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ace (A) | 1 point | Lowest value — great to hold late game |
| 2 – 9 | Face value (2–9 pts) | Middle cards are the hardest to meld away |
| 10 | 10 points | High risk if stranded in your hand |
| Jack (J) | 10 points | Same as 10; prioritise melding these early |
| Queen (Q) | 10 points | Pairs well with other face cards in sets |
| King (K) | 10 points | Highest cost to carry — meld or dump ASAP |
In a fight or end-of-round count, the player with the lowest total of remaining unmelded cards wins. Aces are your best friends late in the game.
Tongits has always been more than just a card game in the Philippines. It's a social experience — a reason to gather, talk, and test your wits against people you know. At Jilliso, we've worked hard to preserve that community feel while adding the convenience of playing from your phone.
The platform matches you with real players across the country, from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi. There's no bot farming here — every opponent you face is a real person with their own strategy and playing style. That unpredictability is what makes each round genuinely exciting.
